Yesterday, while having K at home with my sister, she introduced me to this song. Ok, i'm determined to learn it so that i can K with her the next time ^^ Enjoy!

Visit to Jurong BirdPark

The skies are so dark. Luckily the wind is blowing very strong. It managed to blow the dark clouds away swiftly, showcasing some rays of light. We are off to our planned itenary on a Sunday afternoon - the Jurong BirdPark !







Ha, don't think i want to bore you with pictures of the various birds i had taken .... However, there is one place within the park that i would like to share. This is one of my favourite place during the visit : Lory Loft.







Lory Loft is the world's largest (3000 sq.m & 9 storeys high) walk-in lory flight aviary, with over 1000 free-flying lories. The entire ambience adheres to a rainforest vale of tropical Northern Australia.



This is one of the colorful & vibrant lory residing in the aviary! I bought a special nectar mix at SGD2.00 and offer them to the lories perching on the rail. There's one who saw my offering and flew right onto my left shoulder, giving me a fright. (oops, i let out a scream and immediately i became the center of attention instead of the lories)




I call this the "Ah Beng" lory. Look at how it put one of its leg onto the container while it drinks the nectar from it! Ha

Well, i really had an enjoyable afternoon even though it's drizzling and we are even slightly drenched in the light showers later.

Home-grown Starfruit

I had never seen a real-life star fruit plant till my mom got it's seedlings from an auntie who's expert in agriculture from Malaysia.


Ta ta .... the plant is bearing cute tiny star fruits ! Ohhh, I can't wait to savour them !

Potluck Party

Wiki :

A potluck is a gathering of people where each person is expected to bring a dish of food to be shared among the group.

First time in my potluck activities, I had a newly acquainted friend who bought bags of organic produce to my house to cook! Ha

Hope he won't be angry with me for mixing his organic Cai Xin (菜心) into the non-organic fried bee hoon.

Sisters Outing

I had a wonderful time with my sisters yesterday at the massage salon. Poor gals, they have to wait for me after their foot reflexology sessions as mine was 2hrs while theirs was only 40min. Sorry sisters ...

Thereafter, we headed for Tampines Ikea as the sale is still on! ^^

Oh we had one of the craziest laughter while taking the travellator as we were sharing some lame riddles and embarrassing moments. I laughed till i had to squat (oh partly also because my stomach hurts after the massage). I'll share some in my next blogs ... bwahaahaaa

Traditional Javanese Massage

Thanks to my sister, i've landed myself with a complimentary full body slimming & massage session with a Traditional Javanese Massage salon. ^^



I was first put into a suana chair compartment, and then zipped up for 20min. Wow, thereafter i weigh myself, i lost 200g ! (o.O)

Next, I had a relaxing javanese massage. Then the therapist apply & massage a gel on my 'fatty' areas. I became very cold thereafter, think the gel is targetting at my fats. Finally, i'm wrapped up and put into a steaming sleeping bag for 30min. Haha, it's so hot till i cannot 'tahan' ... after 20min, i'm out of the bag!

Results ? hee, i've got 1cm off my waist ... half a cm of my arms & thighs! I am a pretty satisfied customer ^^

Secret Recipe is celebrating National Day with 42% off their whole cake. Of course, i won't let this chance go by ...

On it's last day of promotion (today), i went over to PS with a colleague and each of us bought a whole cake home! (will furnish a pic later)

It is so BIG lor! Luckily I'm having guests this Sunday, else I wouldn't imagine how I'm gonna finish it.

Black Forest Cake

Today is the last day to use one of my "Baby's full month" voucher from Bengawan Solo (hee, i still have 3 more to redeem, with later expiring dates).

Usually I'll give gifts to friends or colleagues who had given birth and on their baby's full month (1 month later), i will receive such vouchers from them as a token of celebrating their baby's full month. The voucher will indicate what type of cakes i can redeem (eg. walnut cake, pandan cake, butter cake). I had a shock when i realised this particular voucher that i'm redeeming today is worth double the value of the usual cakes! This close colleague cum friend is really nice ...

Hee, so i pamper myself to the irresistable & delicious looking Black Forest Cake, one of my fav too. I couldn't wait till after dinner ... so i took my dessert first ! hee

I was window shopping at Great World City this evening and i came across a to-be-opened-soon furniture shop called "Iwannagohome" (unique name huh). Saw this chandelier-looking ornament (on the left) that's made of beads.

I thought, "Lemme take a picture of it and I'm gonna make one for the next Lunar New Year ..." So i took out my digicam and snapped a pic of it.

Then I stood one side, going thru the pics i had snapped to make sure they look ok before i moved on ... that's where i noticed an auntie & uncle putting their face so close to the glass display to take a look at the same ornament (till i think the oil secreted from their face had already stained the glass =P) ... and moments later, an indian man took out his camera handphone and snapped a picture of the same ornament too!

Hey, i think i can convince "Iwannagohome" to pay me commission for helping to generate public interest in their products !!

It's TGIF and I'm heading for one of the popular "POPULAR SALE".
POPULAR is our local books & stationery store.
I love to go through the stationeries, multimedia products, etc, though i may not buy any.

The last time i went to a books & stationery sale is the MPH sale. I can get a brand new paperpack at about $5~8 ! Good deal right ? I also had an unexpected find! I had been looking high & low for a mask (eyes only) for a party. I really didn't expect to buy it at the MPH Sale lor! ha

Singapore Exclusive Map in MapleStory

Yes ...yes... i'm still playing this online game :: MapleStory. This is 'me' in MapleStory, cute huh?!?

Honestly, I had not played for a long time, only as recently as starting my blog did i start playing again.

Cool! MapleStory is having a Singapore Map today!

I'm really impressed by their efforts to feature Singapore's trademark in the game :: you can see the Merlion, Sir Stamford Raffles, our ERP (Electronic Road Pricing), etc, as well as some of it's famous dishes ::

I think many of us have different ways of relieving stress @home and one of mine is to play games. Actually i hv so many things i wanted to do off work ... but not enough time! How I wish I can buy more time!
