this is the first time i came across! =)
probably, now that we are all pretty good with our multiplication tables (drilled by teachers in school)!
its amazing how that worked out!
but yeah, like fresh mentioned, this method is much much much much slower -_-"
Hmm...as the numbers get bigger, the lines and dots get more complicated eh?

ya, if simple 2 to 3 digits multiplication, this is an interesting and fun method. Wouldn't imagine when the no. of digits get more ... hee
